QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
1.0 Proven track record in managing people in all aspects of a manufacturing organisation.
2.0 A commercial awareness which includes procurement negotiation, stock and asset management and budget control is essential.
3.0 Solid inter-personal skills
4.0 A fundamental understanding of the Health & Safety responsibility of a Manufacturing Engineering Manager and a proven level of experience in this area of management.
5.0 Educated to a degree or diploma level standard, however judgement will also be based on experience.
6.0 Proven understanding of modern manufacturing thinking e.g. Six Sigma, J.I.T. Lean etc.
JOB SUMMARY:
To provide the necessary leadership to the Manufacturing teams, ensuring all aspects of procurement, material supply and assembly are executed to schedule quality and budget.
To continually focus on improving the quality, knowledge, experience and abilities of our teams.
To consistently manage the whole team as one team ensuring that the company’s employment policy is adhered to in order that we are seen by both our customers and employees to be a professional and creditable company.
